Haute Couture: Chanel Fall 2011

These days the most exciting things (for the fashion nerds) happen in Paris: Paris Haute Couture! We want to post favourite creations from that fashion-is-art event.
Today's post is from Chanel's show. It was staged in a 'moonlight' flooded venue decorated to resemble a famous Parisian landmark, Place Vendome. The top of the Perspex plinth at the 'square' Napoleon was replaced by Miss Coco herself, in glass, a signature hat & suit. In short: a perfect rainy parisian night to have a walk & sneak peak at elegantly-dressed parisian women:)

And well deserved applause to Karl Lagerfeld, who somehow manages to bring a new life into good old tweed, strict skirt jacket ensambles and black & white every time. We loved the long white skirt with flowers & white boucle jacket with 3/4 arms, the fuchsia accents in the outfits.

Have a beautiful day,

:*
