Factory Girl

This Sunday´s post is about the movie Factory Girl. If you haven´t seen the movie, we recommend it highly. It tells about Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol, Pop Art and New York of 60-s. Edie a model, actress and socialite from a rich family, she was a muse for the pioneer of Pop Art Andy Warhol. The film has created a lot of controversy around the famous people depicted in the movie (one of the main characters has Bob Dylan as a prototype, Warhol´s character, common drug abuse claims). Anyhow, the producers did a great job depicting the New York of 60-s, Pop Art scene and went further, below that surface of glam and carelessness of the epoch.

What is there more? We have to mention an impressive work by Sienna Miller as Edie in the movie (we must admit that we admire Sienna´s sense of fashion, but come on, who had seen much of Sienna - actress?). And again to ourselves, we love the style there. BTW, we found out that the costume designer for the movie is John Dunn. This name does not tell you anything, right? Neither does it to us:) But, what the heck? Good job Mr Dunn!

Edie Sedgwick (the ´original´ Edie)

And Sienna Miller as Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl.

Don´t you agree those are accessories are just something...

Have a great sunday!
