Todays style inspiration is Carrie Bradshaw (called Sarah Jessica Parker in real life) from Sex and the City. We can hate her (as we did for some time a while ago) or love her (as we do now for her very, very unique style), but one thing is undeniable - Carrie Bradshaw looks like no one else! She has this ability to mix and (mis) match, and (most of the time) pull that off in Carrie manner. We wouldn´t insist that most of what she wears is our thing, and we could dare try it outside parties and nights out. Neither would we walk on 10 cm heels at our own home, but, come on, isn´t that thought damn tempting!?! and every time we watch an episode, don´t we just say, ¨I wish I had that fabulous life of a 40 and single in New York!¨?!?
Maybe TV-shows are not the most arty form of film arts, and some might argue if Sex and The City is the most successful TV series ever made, but we (SATC fans) love it for simpler reasons; for assuring us that fabulous life, love and dreams are not only the privilege of the young and beautiful.
