The holidays came and went away, as it usually happens. And we are again left with a few months of winter. As many hundreds of you may agree with us, the winter months after the holidays must be the hardest ones:( But the good new is that as we all know... There is no bad weather, just bad clothes!!!:))) This post is about good clothes and what is trendy this winter! Check out the 9 main trends of winter and look forward to the rest of the season:)
Trend 1. 60s style. 60s is back and for a while now. Whether it´s a short draped skirt or a full lady outfit, it´s on. The rule is to mix and match with updated pieces not to look like you are borrowing grandma´s wardrobe.
Trend 3. Floral. The florals are still trendy even though it´s cold and not exactly flower- season. Probably somewhere deep inside we are all children of nature and need plants close to us, at least on our clothes. Long sleeved dresses with floral prints, floral cardigans or even trousers with gardens of eden, anything is good enough. The golden rule is less is more. When things become too much, it´s wise to pull over a black cardigan or go for flat a bit masculine shoes.
Trend 7. Orange. Another hit colour of the season is orange with all its shades. This very summerly colour adds a splash of light and joy into otherwise dull and dark silhouettes. The key is to choose thick warm materials for not looking misplaced timewise.

Trend 2. Coat. The classical woolen coat is not only a must in winter months to keep one warm and add a chic to the winter outfit, it´s also trendy. Different cuts from most classical to 60s style and long coats a la 70 in all kinds of colours. We love the one Keira Knightley is wearing and vote for grey.

Nikki Reed
Trend 4. Green. Green in all shades is the trend this winter, bringing joy and fresh wight to our eyes and immense happiness to our mom, who loves green whatever trend is. Any shade of green is the thing from deep emerald to light turquoise. Even matching green with green is allowed. If unsure, it is wiser to use the old trick of picking an accessory of the colour with otherwise more neutral outfit: like a bag or shoes in bright green.
Chloe
Busy Philips
Trend 5. Lady. The ladylike style of a serious, classy woman is very in this season. Fitted jackets or loose ones with a tiny belt in the middle, pencil-skirts and straight trousers 'cigarettes' are all used widely this season and not only to official occasions. A ruffled blouse will lighten up the strict silhouette of the skirt. Wide brim hats, long gloves, small leather belts and little shoulder bags will 'class' up the existing outfits.
Marni
Victoria Beckham
Trend 6. Minimalist. Minimalism is still trendy and thanks for that!! It does that we can still wear all black outfits and not be bored or be trendy in just a grey sweater and blue trousers. Keep it minimal and let the structure, clean cuts and quality materials do the talking.
Jil Sander
Ella Macpherson
BSBG Max Azria
Olivia Palermo
Trend 8. Plastic. Synthetic leathered, lacquered plastic has never been quite our thing. But in small amounts it might surprizingly refresh the look and instantly make a plain outfit trendy. This season they are present at anything both as independant pieces of outfits, and as details. For non-fans like ourselves, we suggest sweaters with lacquered pockets or synthetic leather tights.Balenciaga
Kate Moss
Trend 9. Sequins. The 80s with sequins are still a living trend this winter. In warmer colours and matched with trditional winter pieces like knitted hats or woolen tights, sequins might even look quite ordinary. Whatever it is you choose, remember sequins cannot be mixed and matched with sequins:)
Dolce and Gabbana
Zoe Kravitz
Have a trendy monday whatever the weather is:)
